Nordic Construction Diving AB offers all services for the inspection and repair of vessels. In order to meet demands for flexibility and swift attendance in the event of an incident, we always have staff and equipment in readiness to come at short notice. We can therefore in most cases be on site within 24 hours from when the initial contact has been made with us.
Shipping Services
In addition to inspections NDE also provides a range of other vessel services. These include:
- Hull scrubbing
- Propeller polishing
- Anode testing
- Measurement of corrosion potential
- Plugging of intakes
- Changing/supplementing welding of anodes
- Temporary and permanent hull repairs
- Hull thickness measurement

With partners and using our own resources, we can perform shipping services not only throughout Sweden but also internationally.
Inspections
NDE is authorised to perform In Water Surveys, IWS by the ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), DNV (Det Norske Veritas), Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas and Germanischer Lloyds. This authorisation guarantees that NDE has all the equipment, procedures and expertise to carry out inspections of a high quality and standard. During the inspections we perform the following is always included:
Equipment
- Helmet-mounted video camera and lamp.
- Two-way communication between the diver and dive master.
- Digital still camera.
Documentation
- Video recording of inspection on hard disk recorder/DVD.
- Video log, to facilitate review of the inspection.
- Digital still photographs of any damage.
- Written report of inspection.
