OHSAS 18001

OHSAS 18001:2007 and AFS 2001:1 are naturally incorporated into our systems, processes and activities. 18 001 is similar to ISO 14001, the difference being that 18 001 is about safety and security. The standard requires that:

- Health and safety issues are identified and systematically evaluated
- Legal requirements are identified
- Planning procedures are in place to comply with relevant safety requirements
- In NDE's case this implies that work environment issues are naturally incorporated into contracts, diving activities, maintenance, purchasing, internal personnel issues, etc.

The management team is responsible for the evaluation of work environment issues for instance by the implementation of internal audits and other management tools.
